Many moons ago I wrote about how short videos are better than long ones, and I took lumps in the comments because I didn’t do a good job explaining myself and some readers took me far to literally. However I came across a video last week that allows me to explain myself a little better.

Sure I go and write yesterday that I’m not going to be posting and somebody puts something up that makes me laugh. Popcrunch puts out a video today where Sugarrae, Matt Cutts and I get a mention, hang through till the last 30 seconds

I was chatting with Lee Odden and Bryan Eisenberg yesterday in the speaker ready room. Lee pulled out his video camera for bit of an impromtu on the spot video interview.

When I first started experimenting with video one of the things I was extremely concerned about was the lack of text on the page. I’ve been pleasantly surprised at the results so far. So my wordpress video made the top 15 most linked to videos in the DIY section, and #30 in the most viewed DIY section

Not exactly sure how I managed to use video to make an issue more complicated, but my post on how to optimize for youtube thumbnails actually did, so go figure.
