I want the dependability of a dedicated hosting server with the full functionality from a reseller or hosting manager account, why is it so hard to get both at the same time?

Update:
I got a tip about a dedicated reseller server, so I’m giving them a shot and we’ll see how it goes.

Get a full server with Cpanel on it. Cpanel is only 20 dollars more than a regular server where I host at. ( serverbeach )

  2. Joe Preston Says:

Yeah, but, cpanel takes you out of those nice $99 dedicated deals, and everyone I ever ask about it says there is also a performance hit.

You could frontload the costs by buying an unmanaged server w/o cpanel, pay for one-time server setup that includes a robust setup of Webmin.

I have a dedicated server with cpanel on it that I would be willing to share with you. It has been certified as SEO Friendly. I can set you up with a reseller account on it.

Thanks for the offer but I’m almost all done at this point, it has been a frustrating experience to say the least.

There are some companies that offer great deals on managed server options, without sacrificing support.

I used to run Platinax and Threadwatch on a dedicate box at LiquidWeb, using the CPanel admin panel. Was around $300 for a dual xeon machine with a lot of space and RAM.

Moved out simply because I need to focus my hosting in the UK, but something like that may be an option worth considering in future.
