Hard to say which is more embarrassing or pathetic, the fact that their image hosting is over it’s bandwidth or the cheezy dating adsense banner. Sk-rt you make it hard for me to take you seriously.

If you’re against them, why do you give them exposure and links like this?

Hi Michael,
What can we say? We are experiencing growing pains but we hear ya on the google adsense craziness. We had Hulk Hogan’s mug prominently displayed for about a week. Ad-related changes are in the works. Thanks for the feedback!

Also, something is going on at websnapr (our thumbnail host) as its results are proving to be somewhat unpredictable in serving thumbnails. We’ll look into it. Thanks again, Laura.

Michael, your web space at http://www.atlasws.com has nothing there, just an FYI.

Good for you Laura for addressing the issues, and “big up” to Graywolf for starting the dialogue. If more social sites were honestly responsive to this we could improve the space more easily.

Laura,
I too have used Sk-rt in the past, but haven’t been using it for awhile for various reasons. I hope you improve upon the site because it is a great niche and I know of lots of great content worth putting up there if only there was more traffic.
PS: I’m sure MG is completely aware that he has a blank index file on Atlasws.com .

I sent sk-rt an email as soon as I read this post. It was written quickly and admittedly wasn’t the nicest email I’ve ever sent. I’m a big fan of sk-rt and quite frankly was a little peeved to see it in this condition. Within 20minutes Laurie from sk-rt sent a detailed reply addressing my concerns, saying they’re working on the issues. Thumbnails are back up (for me at least) and I’ve been informed the adsense ads will go once they’ve re-branded, which is positive news. Props to GrayWolf for bringing this to light.
