INTERNETMy subscription to Wired Magazine ran out EONS ago. Ok maybe more like three or four years, but as the great prognosticator of WebmasterWorld RCJordan put it “on the internet everything is measured in dog years” (link). Anyways, I dropped my subscription to Wired Magazine for the most backwards reason of all, they had too much good content. I struggled to finish reading each issue before the next would arrive, eventually I was 3 months behind and had to quit cold turkey. I still read it sometimes if I’m taking the train to Manhattan, going on plane, or if someone sends me a link. Still at $12 a year it’s well worth subscribing to.

On to the point of this post, according to the latest issue of Wired News (the online sister of Wired Magazine), it should hence forth be referred to as “internet” NOT “Internet”.(full story). Now do you think you folks can do something about “e” everything. I say it’s high time it just went to business or commerce instead of “e-business” or “e-commerce” .

Wired Magazine - wow I remember getting that YEARS ago. And oh, were we supposed to be calling it e-business? I always thought that was silly.
