Try diatomic or micron filtration.
You going for a freshwater tank? I went to a local aquarium, was really impressed with the natural aquascapes (low cut so my son could get his hands wet).
Bruce is to Matt as Night is to Day.

Ah yes, Mrs. P will not even let me start aquascaping until I finish doing the repair and upgrades in the home.
I dream of pvc pipes in the walls bringing water to and from various aquatic environments, all filtered from a basement control room. Dreaming sucks!

I’m dreaming of a built in 250 salt water with a 55 gallon converted into a wet/dry and then another 55 converted into a refugium. Of course I’d have to a have a Reverse Osmosis system, and some monster metal halide lights, and then maybe a moon phase simulator to get some coral spawning …

I was glancing over your posts and website. Something bothered me that you’re trying to keep search engines up with your daily posts. Especially this post smells like ‘I could not find something for you today so bear with me’. Posting just for search engines or a few more visitors or a few more clicks on ads might make you feel better but as a visitor, I believe quality is going down with these posts.

Actually this post is part of a series I’m trying. On or about the first of each month I give a little insight into what I’m doing in my personal life.
