Let me also take this opportunity to say how much I hate reading scientific papers. Yeah I know you egghead’s paid a lot of money, and went to school for a long time, and you learned some really interesting things. But you know what, really smart people can take really complicated things, in a way that regular people can understand what they are talking about. Want an example? Jack Horner the paleontologist they based the Alan Grant’s (Sam Niel) character on for Jurassic Park, he found these dinosaur fosilzed dinosaur tracks. They were using them to prove dinosaurs ran. They were taking all sorts of measurements to go back to lab and work out complex math formulas to prove how fast the dinosaurs were moving when they made the tracks. Here’s the genius part. The dinosaurs were about as tall as he was. When he walked into the foot prints didn’t match, they were too far apart. However when he jogged into them they sync’d up almost perfectly. See you probably understood that and you didn’t even see it.
