Not my site, not my client, not affiliated with me in any way, however I do read it regularly. Seems he’s having a bit of a problem with Google losing his site. Maybe someone in Google can give him a heads up. There I did my good deed for the day.

Does it have anything to do with this: http://thedisneyblog.typepad.com/ being exactly the same as this http://thedisneyblog.com?

Nope, it was hidden text and we tried to contact the owner. I left a comment on his blog.

Is it true that all TypePad blogs prompt bloggers to make that very bad move with the hidden h2 tag?

Another vote for Wordpress…

Thanks for your part in my saga. Your help is very much appreciated. I’ve written down some of the lessons I’ve learned about this whole mess here:

This is very interesting to me for two reasons. One, another site gets dumped until a high-profile advocate raises the cost for Google and Google steps in to fix things. Two, with as much blatant spam and such filling the web (and many Google SERPs, http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=intitle%3A%22hacked+by%22&mkt=en-US&form=QBRE&go.x=0&go.y=0&go=Search), Google prioritizes dumping someone who is fully accountable, and part of a very large network of similar sites (Typepad).
