I had the pleasure to speak with Ted Leonsis this morning and have to say he’s a pretty cool guy. When this whole thing started last November things got blown out of control and he took the high road, watched from the sidelines and didn’t engage in a silly flame war. To be honest nobody in the SEO community, myself included, reached out to to him to get his take on the issue, instead we all gathered up our torches and pitchforks, based on a newspaper article. After speaking with him I feel he actually does understand the value of SEO and what an SEO can do for a person or company. So I’ve taken down my ad and I’ve 301′d my page over to him, no need for me to continue to be jerk. Reputation Management 101 pick up the phone make contact and try to solve the problem the right way.
PS: If you created a page with some funny, goofy, or unflattering pictures, do the right thing …
