So I’ve been going back and forth with someone over a project and they weren’t getting what I was trying to say. I have the problem of being a visual thinker so things get lost in translation sometimes. My new PC arrived yesterday and while I’m getting to know it I decided to use it to send them a sketch of what I see in my mind, sort of a digital cocktail napkin

two things…
1) Try OneNote 2007. MUCH better than 2003!
2) Try printing to OneNote Journal (printer driver); it’s super for being able to markup ANY page that you can print (from Word, from the Web, from Excel, whatever)
Interestingly enough, though, I haven’t gotten much out of either of my tablet PCs (home or work ones) so I’ll likely be trading in my work one soon and also selling my home one. The benefits (occasional annotations, light weight, etc.) are far outweighed for me, at least, by the drawbacks (like MUCH slower processing speeds than comparably priced laptops)

Nice!! This inspires me to stay with the PC… I’ve been kicking around the idea of switching over to Mac (just because they are so cool), but I’ve only have problems when I’ve used them. I think I may try the Tablet PC instead.

I have to ask - what Tablet did you get? (and why them instead of Company X).
