Ok I finally broke down and bought the Star Wars boxed DVD set at Walmart this weekend (DAMN YOU GEORGE LUCAS). Yeah I know it’s not like I needed them, I mean I already own all of them on tape. And since nobody got me a that 80″ plasma screen TV I’ve been lusting after, it’s not like the picture is really any better on one version or the other. It’s hard to put my finger on exactly why, but for some reason watching a DVD is more enjoyable than watching a VHS tape.

DAMN YOU GEORGE LUCAS … DAMN YOU AND ALL THAT POWER OF THE SCHWARTZ GRIP YOU HAVE ON ALL OF US! DAMN YOUR JEDI MIND TRICKS THAT MAKES US BUY THE SAME PRODUCT WE ALREADY OWN OVER AND OVER AGAIN. AND DAMN YOU FOR MAKING US THINK CARRIE FISHER IS ACTUALLY HOT IN THAT SLAVE GIRL OUTFIT!
