I was first exposed to Shoe on webmasterradio.fm. He is definitely a natural on the air. I would love to see all the webmaster guys on a TV show someday. SEO, domain names, and affiliate marketing are finally getting their dues as budding industries, and information gurus like Shoe and Grey Wolf might just find themselves on MSNBC someday!

On podcasts teaching SEO - I should have mentioned Greg Niland's Good Karma podcast, also at WebmasterRadio.fm. He brings in a lot of active SEOs and picks their brains about what works for them. A lotta information there, and from people operating at pretty high levels for the most part.

Shoemoney really is a natural.

In terms of substantive SEO podcasts, both the SEO Rockstars and the Sitepoint guys occasionally let little nuggets drop. Their shows are less about news - you have the Danny Sullivan podcast for that - that a simulated hour sitting at the bar with a couple of veteran SEOs. You pick things up if you are listening. For intro level stuff aimed at webmasters and beginning SEOs, there are a few out there but the only one that is both entertaining and reasonably helpful is Mr. SEO. There is also a bunch of stuff at SEORadio.com but it hasn't been updated in months and it only streams; you can't download to your iPod.

There is even less good stuff about making money online, the niche Shoemoney fits into. There are a lot of guys pushing the usual get rich quick hype, but very little that's useful. Even the affiliate show at WebmasterRadio is just a couple of Commission Junction employees pushing the company line, not the usual in the trenches folks they have on the other shows.

It all comes back to the general rule - in this business, the guys who know the most usually talk the least. Shoemoney is a refreshing exception to the rule.

Shoemoney's show is always fantastic. Shoe is great about giving out useful information. I'm sure people have already made thousands of dollars just from the information and examples that he gives out just in discussing PPC, Affiliates, and other monitization strategies.

Does anyone do a podcast that actually teaches SEO besides me? I need something to compare mine to. Seems a lot of people report on SEO but not about how to do it.

Isn't Shoe a true natural on the air! I have caught most of the podcasts and I think they're great, a true seo rockstar in the making.
