If you’ve been wondering why I’ve been noticeably absent from my regular postings it’s because I’ve been helping put the finishing touches on a new project I’m involved with called SEO Class.

I’ve been working with Jeremy, Rae, Todd, and Greg on this project since early January. SEO Class is going to be a small scale personalized hands-on workshop that will be given in New York several times a year. To help kick our project off we’re announcing a free seminar for non-profit and charitable organizations. The free seminar is limited to 30 organizations and a maximum of three people per group. So why is it free and what’s the catch? Well we know charities are on a limited budget and can’t always afford to send people to conferences or hire consultants so this gives us an opportunity to help people who are doing good for the community. Second we hope the folks who come like it so much they’ll be willing give us a nice recommendation. Lastly because you’re wondering there won’t be any sales pitches during the conference.

For those of you who aren’t a charitable organization but are interested in attending, you can look at our SEO Workshop Agenda and submit your contact info to our pre-registration form. This way you’ll be sure to get a seat as attendance at that event is limited to 40 companies.

So stop by take a look around subscribe to our blog . If you think our project is interesting we’d love a link or mention on your blog or website. If you know any charitable organizations in New York who would be interested be sure to let them know.

There you go man, I got a lot of respect for those who help out non profits. Treat them well and build your empire.

This looks great as I’ve recently been doing more and more SEO work for the company I work for. Doesn’t Jeremy tout himself as an affiliate marketer and not an SEO?

wanna buy semclass.com?

Rae March 2, 2007 at 2:49 pm

You’ll see on the agenda page we’re covering technical topics and paid search too – two of Jeremy’s strong points.

This is a great idea, I wish I was able to attend something like this when I was learning SEO/SEM. Perhaps I wouldn’t have made as many mistakes in the past and wasted so much money?

Nice, I’ve been a lurker for a while but I’m glad to see you doing something good for non-profits. I’m currently helping a non-profit monetize their website to generate some money for a noble cause.

There are so many non-profits that could benefit from a little SEO and marketing. Yes, even black hats could do dirty work for a good cause.

Big names up there, Jeremy is my online marketer idol! *don’t get freak shoe!*

This website is fantastic.

SEO classs is also a very good idea, I only wish I could attend.

Are there any SEO online-learning college’s?

Thanks,

Ben
