Since the folks over at the Yahoo Buzz Report tell us that some IPod searches are up anywhere from 187% to 646% (Yahoo! Buzz Index - Buzz Log - Apple Swallows Holiday Buzz), they came to the conclusion that lots of folks got an IPod for Christmas/Chanukah/Kwanzaa/Festivus. I’ll bet that even includes some of you out there in Webmaster/SEO blog land. So here are my top recommendation’s for podcasts you should be listening to from WebmasterRadio:
SEORockstars: Hosted by Oilman and who ever he can rope into being a guest host since BakedJake bailed.
Daily Search Cast: Daron Babin talks with Danny Sullivan or Gary Price of Search Engine Watch about the top news stories in the world of search engines.
Domain Masters: Monte Cahn of Moniker talks about the world of domains and has interviews with people from the domain world. I don’t play as heavily in the domain space as I could, but I learn something every time I listen to his show.
GoodKarma: This show is hosted by GoodROI and while it’s aimed at newer and basic SEO type stuff, there are still a few nuggets in there for the rest of us.
Yahoo Power Source: This is hosted by Tim Mayer and Jeremy Zawodny of Yahoo. These guys have only done one show so far, but they should have some decent contacts and be able to pull in some power guests.
Strike Point: Hosted by Dave Naylor and Mikkel deMib Svendsen. OK to be honest I can only understand about half of what these guys are saying (english accents), but they are having an awfully good time saying it and it is the only show on the network that has to be tagged as adult content for language.
That’s a Wrap: Daron Babin and WebGuerrilla (spelled like the warfare not the primate) talk rant about whatever pissed them off the most this week in the search engine world.
So if you have an IPod the easiest thing to do is subscribe to the WebmasterRadio master feed through ITunes or IPodder. However you can listen even if you don’t own an IPod or other portable MP3 player. If you’re a regular listener you can even bookmark the live feeds in Winamp or Windows Media Player so you don’t have to go back to the site to listen.

I listen to all of these shows on a regular basis and in no way should this be interpreted or misconstrued as a shameless attempt to score a black webmaster radio t-shirt (large size).

[...] So I’ve been reading lots of the GoDaddy Horror Stories lately, and decided to start moving my domains to another registrar. All the big dogs seem to recommend Moniker.com. I listen to Monte’s show on Webmaster Radio and met him at the last Pubcon in Vegas, so decided to give it a go. [...]
