Nothing Stays Constant but Change

For many of you this will be your first visit here, and to you I say welcome. To those of you who visit somewhat regularly, or know me more than casually, you will know there have been some dramatic and important plans occurring in the background. Within the last two weeks the time to make the decision has come.

As of this Friday I will be leaving my job of the past 13 years. The whole incident comes with a bittersweet feel to it. In that time I’ve met many people, and made many friends, and I will miss seeing you on a daily basis. For that reason I am sad. However this will leave me with time look for new projects, about which I am very excited.

For all the people who took the time to to teach me things along the way, thank you. And of the work I leave behind I’m proud of most of it (man that early stuff was really pretty crappy), and I am sad to be leaving it behind. In the world of the internet, nothing is permanent and change is constant, but I hope that spirit of love and pride that I put into my code will live on.

So my friends if our paths never cross again, I bid you a fond farewell, but remember my virtual door will always be open if you want to come by for a visit.
