After the mini spat over the MyBlogLog icon usage earlier this week I updated my image too. While clear heads eventually prevailed and everybody made up, not surprisingly the “babe-ification” of my icon definitely boosted my subscribers.
So I’m going to start a completely non-scientific test to see if it’s simply changing the image that helps, whether making it funny or entertaining helps. Thanks to Shoemoney ™ for letting me play along, so check out my new picture. I’ve got some other ideas for things to try, but if you’re willing to send me a shirt or are near me in NY and think we can arrange a picture drop me an email, no promises but I’m open to ideas.

Hmmm - looking at your most popular outgoing link ( “cheerleader lingerie costumes”) it seems like it might be in your best interest to go back to the other picture to really match your audience’s intent
