Ok so I didn’t actually get around to blogging about it but I will admit I was wrong on this one. I had cooked up some elaborate Google plot to explain the whole thing:
- There’s strife between old (aka IPO millionaires) and new employees (not millionaires) at the googleplex
- Management gets wind of some dissention in the ranks and cooks up hoax to keep people from making it public
- They hire an “employee” who comes in and “reveals” some “secret” info in a blog
- After it gets noticed we create all this “drama”
- While the iron is still hot they can him
- His empty desk at the plex is like the severed head of an enemy stuck on pike outside the town gates
What … ok so maybe I watched too many episodes of the X-Files and Twin Peaks. I was wrong ok, but at least I admitted it. Listen you can’t be too cynical in my line of work ok. Seems he had an interview with Jeremy Zawodny of Yahoo today.
