I’ll admit I haven’t been following the Dave Pasternack contest that strongly, but I came across Incredibill’s Dave Pasternack page today who gave a good update. There’s a little bit over 3 weeks which means this is your last shot to make any adjustments.
As Bill says #1 remove or no follow any links to his page on did-it.com (I did).
The only two strong pages that not controlled by him are my Dave Pasternack page and the Dave Pasternack Threadwatch contest page. So if you want to affect things throw some links or 301 your page to one of those two pages. As is standard practice for me in all these contests any and all prize money goes to charity, a policy I’ve always had.

The contest seems to be getting interesting now, we have New Yorker and Oilman exchanging the top spot over the past couple of days, aside from them there is this page, Dave Pasternack’s own bio page and then three other links about the chef Dave Pasternack.
Looks like it may be a close run thing – wonder if he has any more ideas up his sleeve to nose past in the last week.

I tried to make a difference but it seems the 301 did the trick in this contest. With only one day to go well see if google updates.
