With the blogosphere as my witness if Hillary Clinton Runs for President I will break my no politics rule and start a political blog. I mean the traffic from a Hillary backed run versus whoever the Bush administration props up is going to be huge.

I imagine Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are in a secret enclave sacrificing a goat as we speak to appease the gods to make it happen.

Gosh I mean a blog like this could absolutely satisfy my inner schizophrenic …

Hilary is not going to run…she is having too much fun as a senator.

It’s “Jon” Stewart and “Stephen” Colbert. :)

Also – why Hillary? Is it just the public demand for stories about her?

If she runs and wins, I will do what Alec Baldwin promised to do if Bush won his second election – move to Canada.

Too bad he didn’t keep his word. I can’t stand that guy!

Hillary will run for vice president at best and Al Gore will be running for vice president vs Rudy for vice president and John McCain for president.

You heard it here first, I am taking a webshot of this as proof. WOOT

Divisie people who polarize issues create lots of angry people who froth at the mouth (or keyboard). No matter where you stand on Bush you have to agree he is divisive. Living in NY I get more Hillary news than anybody, and she’s quite the polarizing figure here.

Thanks for the spelling I fixed it that’s what I get for posting off the cuff ;-)

I hope she runs, and if so, I’ll be right in her corner. I feel she’s been good for New York, and when she wins reelection by one of the biggest margins in state history, it’ll show the rest of the state has no problems with her either. However, I still don’t think I’ll be able to talk about it on my business blog, as I try not to cross into things outside of my business realm. But we’ll see; sometimes something happens that fits my topics.

ooo…politics…nice…
and I’m a NYer….
I don’t know about hillary…but I’d vote for anyone besides Bush….Bush doesn’t jive with me at all….in fact, I hate Bush with a passion.

My guess is Hillary won’t run (yet). She’s probably got her eyes on senate majority leader first.

I’m thinking it’ll be a Gore v. McCain matchup, two pretty non-divisive guys who’ll create a lot of bored political bloggers.

How about Hillary v. Condie?

IF Hillary does run, who would the GOP throw in there to counter? Very interesting indeed…

Other than Colin Powell I can’t think of anybody the republican party could prop up who wouldn’t take a beating for GW’s actions.

Guiliani would be exempt from the Bush fiasco.

yep the worst he’s got to worry about is being accused of chasing out the bums and “working girls” from Manhattan so it was safe for him to take his mistress on strolls through the city

Guiliani shilled pretty hard for GW during the last election. I think that damaged his cred with independents and dems.
