Monday April 25 is the 15th anniversary of the Hubble telescopes launch. Yes it had some problems with the lenses after it was launched, but they fixed that and we got some beautiful pictures from it. Currently they plan to let Hubble burn up in the atmosphere rather than save it (news) which doesn’t make sense to me. Heck I’d be happy with 50 “broken” Hubble telescopes that do some actual science, than a bunch of programs that don’t
