I got it on a very reliable source that post AOL the Google algorithm for the top 10 SERPS is going to look pretty close to this.
$URL(1) = “AOL.com”;
$URL(2) = “Weblogsinc.com”;
$URL(3) = “Amazon.com”;
$URL(4) = “Wikipedia.com”;
$URL(5) = “Ebay.com”;
$URL(6) = “Craigslist.com”;
$URL(7) = “About.com”;
$URL(8) = “EPinions.com”;
$URL(9) = “Bizrate.com”;
$URL(10) = Random_Blog();
RANDOMIZE($URL);

Hehe, I just wish it wasn’t so true
I wonder how much favoured placement AOL will get. This is actually the first time Google is placing content outside it’s regular algorithm, and not focusing on relevancy to the user. Seems like a really bad move to me, and a turn for the worse.
