Every few days it seems Google does everything they possibly can to make things worse for themselves. Today they were called out on admitting a Nazi News website into the Google news aggregator (instapundit). Of course this is making into the blogosphere (here, here, here)

While I’ve seen quite few new sites in Google news that I found were questionable, this is an alltime low. Here’s the thing Google really seems to have forgotten the old cluetrain days, about having a public voice and being true to it. The silence and public refusal to even acknowledge there’s a problem leaves many industry insiders worrying what’s going on. Do they not know there is a problem, do they not care, and why aren’t they they talking, what else are they hiding?

How long can this pattern of internal self destruction continue before stock prices and investors catch on?

tip of the hat to threadwatch on this one.
