OK I’m a big Firefox fan but version 1.5 is pretty gosh darn buggy. It’s at the point now where it crashes 3 to 4 times a day. At first I thought it was Session Saver which caused some problems before, but after removing it I really don’t see any difference. I know I’m not the only one having issues so anybody else figured anything out?

Having just stuck new versions on top of previous installs for years, it all started to go wrong with 1.5 – multiple daily crashes, no clear trend as to why and when.
Took less than an hour to build a new profile (theme, extensions, toolbars, the lot) and (with the same install) have not had one single crapout since then.
Rarely crashes for me… more like monthly or semi-monthly, certainly not multiple times a day.
There is a 1.5.0.1 version out that’s been more than stable for me and I’ve even forced acoule of old extensions to work with the newer version.
The new install seems to be working MUCH better, make your backups and give it a shot if you’re having any problems.
There are few solutions here to fix Firefox 1.5 issues

I’d switch to IE – only that repeatedly crashes, too.
1.5 sucks. its buggy.
