So I was cruising around last night with “Googlebot” as my User-Agent. I was thinking of something and decided to visit a domain I have with a parking service. I was surprised to see they were using cloaking IP delivery to include links to 5 other websites. Now these all happen to be other domains that are parked at the service, since you probably get more links pointed at you then you are giving out it works out in the end. So for you folks who do have lots of domain parking is this a common practice?

This is cloaking, not IP delivery… You haven’t spoofed you IP, you only used the Googlebot User-Agent…

Cloaking carries negative connotations, so user agent targeting would be more politically correct.
