Now that we’ve reached the fourth part we are starting to get to the good stuff, the Search Engine Optimized CSS templates. If you don’t have any idea what an SEO template is you’re going to need to view some page code. Open up CSS template #5 and view the source code. The masthead comes first followed by the left nav, then the main center content, then the footer. Now try the same thing with CSS template 17. The main center content comes first, followed by the left nav, the masthead then the footer. Template 5 looks the same as template 17 to the human eye, but the search engines see something completely different. If you aren’t a CSS code monkey it takes a little while to get your head around it, but try comparing the two files, you will get there.
