Legendary actor William Shatner, who is best known for his portrayal of Captain Kirk on Star Trek, has put up $210,000 to be among the first people to fly into space on the newly formed Virgin Galatic division, of Richard Branson’s Virgin Empire (news story). So now you’re asking, hey Gray what’s with the picture of the green chick, I mean what’s she got to do with this? Nothing she’s just eye candy to go along with the sensational headline ok? However for those of you trivia buffs out there the green chicks character is known as Marta and was played buy the actress Yvonne Craig who also happened to play Batgirl on the classic Adam West version of Batman from the 1960’s.
