Over on the Bruce Clay Blog, Susan posts about a cool SEO Charity Contest they announced today.
Basically you find a charity, make some suggestions on how they can improve their website, and if they agree to partner up with you you both get a chance to go to SMX for free (did I mention I’m speaking) and you get to take some training and certification at the Bruce Clay Plex (I don’t know if anybody else calls it that but I’m so taking credit for it). You can go and check out the full details at Bruceclay.com - SEO Contest: Help People, Get Training, Go to SMX
You’ve got to submit your entry to Lisa or Susan, and if your grammar and spelling are as bad as mine, have somebody proof read it first, cause the ladies are particular about that kind of thing.

I’m thinking typo…
“Basically you find a charity, make some suggestions on how they can improve your website…”
YOUR website?
Come on now, I really hope you meant THEIR website.
Other than that… pretty good op for those that win.
Maybe there should be some recognition for those that “apply” but don’t make the cut… but only after they go ahead and do some of the great stuff they talked about in the app. That way, some of those out there that get a non-profit all hyped up end up with some motivation to continue on and not just drop it after they don’t get the tickets.
