I have one Michael. They are ok as long as you get a decent screen size as the screens tend to be smaller. The handwriting recognition is useful and tbh i have used it more often than i thought i would.
I bought it to try as it seemed a good tool for my cartooning but tbh it didnt really do that as well as i liked.

Hit me on IM if you wanna chat mate.

I like my imac and macpro, and will never buy another pc again.

I just got my Toshiba replaced from best buy. The cooling fan went out on it. Regardless to what you buy, I definitely recommend the warranty. It can be a little pricy but this is the second laptop best buy had to replace.

Michael you need a mac pro and parallels to run windows *when you have to*. Nothing else can you give you the ease for flexibility in testing your sites on multiple platforms including mac os x - which should be the main reason to switch.

The hardware can break more often, but just get the 3 year warranty.

Don’t forget to have one of your kids show their student id for a discount at the apple store or online visit the education section of the store.

Hey Michael, I am an avid fan of the mac platform. I currently have a mac pro, and imac, and a power book. And have nothing but good things to say about them.

ps. hopefully i will soon have the iPhone!

I had one for a while, until the HD crashed… and I didn’t bother replacing it.

Not too long after I got it I started seeing the cheap/same price laptops that had really great screens. Since I never really ended up using the tablet part of the tabPC I wished I hadn’t sacrificed the screen size for the coolness-factor. It’s not really that practical.
