Looks like Google doesn’t seem to have an issue with bad spelling. In addition to ranking my website they also ranked people who linked to me with bad spelling snippets. However as far as convincing people you are trustworthy or authoritative well that’s a whole ‘nother story.

I imagine 1 post like this in a blog full of regular goodness wouldn’t cause your rankings to sink.

It would be interesting to know where the crap-to-good-stuff threshold really lies though – I imagine it exists :)

I wonder why you put your images on flickr. To save bandwidth? Or is there a SEO reason?

I bet if you had created two versions of your test page, one with poor spelling and one with correct spelling, the properly spelled version would have outranked the poorly spelled one so I think your results are a tad unreliable :)
