Ashlee Simpson and the Orange Bowl

Seems like Ashlee Simpson just can’t get enough of bad press. Trying to recover from her Lip Sync’ SNL debacle , she sang at the Orange Bowl, and well things didn’t go so well (news), in fact things went pretty poorly. Kelly Clarkson also sang that night and was well recieved. However by the time Ashlee had finished it seems the crowd booed so badly that the televsion cameras cut away.

Of course this has inspired all sorts of jokes, like the Ashlee Karoke iPod, none of which are going away anytime soon. Not one to beat a dead horse, but Ashlee dear if you’re going to put this behind you are going to have to be honest and step up to the plate. Most of America will forgive for making a mistake, even a really big one. However if you’re not talented enough to pull it off and you’re just riding on the coat tails of your sister Jessica Simpson, sorry you’re going to have to take your lumps.
