With the latest version of iTunes, Apple has disabled an add-on program that let people transfer songs off of their iPod. (news)
Ok so I pay my $0.99 to download my ITunes song onto my IPod and now I’m not allowed to move it anywhere else? What gives? Sounds like another case of the copyright zealots going too far. If I buy the music as long I keep on a system that I own, I should be able to make as many copies as I want. If I want one for my SUV that’s fine, one for my sports car that’s fine too, one for my summer home, again it’s all good. Now if were to give a copy to my friend, that’s a different story, that would be illegal.
I thought here in America people were innocent until proven guilty? Guess Apple doesn’t subscribe to that view. You know what corporate America I’m a big boy, and can make my own ethical decisions, I don’t need you to decide for me, got it.
