So after reading Rae’s review of Merchant Circle, I headed on over and checked out the SERP for Merchant Circle and what I saw wasn’t pretty …
Now of course the amusing thing is looking at the homepage the first thing they mention is “managing your reputation”
Umm what’s with mini fonts in a nearly blendable gray down at the bottom? Are your usability skillz as bad as your reputation management or are you hoping I won’t see that? Are you trying to convince me you’re stupid or hoping that I am?

Yeah, thanks to that SERP, some variation of Merchant Circle’s name takes up 4 of the top 10 spots on the list of organic referrals to my blog. So far in March, the MC name is bringing 10x more traffic than any other search term……

We are making huge progress on the development of http://www.UrbanMelt.com, however, the target launch date will be moved to sometime in August 2007. We want to thank everyone in the meantime for all of their support.
