A thread over at Webmaster World entitled Hit by a Bus is making the rounds and Andy, Jim and Barry are all talking about it. A good place to start would be making sure those daily/weekly/monthly backups you’re running regularly are indeed running regularly. Also make sure you have a printed copy of where your domains are registered, hosted and the required passwords is also available (but not too available if you know what I mean). Lastly if your business couldn’t run without you, make sure you provide contact information for someone you trust in the business, who would buy or at least help sell your assets for a fair price.
