Wow I’ve got to say that the Go Daddy stuffed Advertisement Domains by proxy page really shows how great a human edited search engine is and how it isn’t subject to being abused by internal favoritism at all …

LMAO! Excellent point. The first 10 lines that I looked at on that page ALL say Go Daddy! What hypocrites. Now these “mahalo” people (calacanis?!) have an uphill battle to convince (me at least) that they are “impartial and free of sponsor-influenced” gibberish. Thanks for pointing that out Michael.

Wait. The page says they don’t have any results for “domain by proxy” yet and “go daddy” is their best match. So the page that returns is what you would get when you type “go daddy” which would be a whole bunch of go daddy links, right?

Or am I missing something?

I like their meta stuff.

meta name=”keywords” content=”Main Page,Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS),Aquarium,Armani,Asthma,Belize Vacation,Blackwater USA,Cars,Chrysler 300,DIRECTV,David Obey”

Are they eventually going to add every search result they have created in there… ;)

In my opinion you shot yourself in the foot pretty early on when you feigned ignorance of http://www.wolf-howl.com/seo/jason-calacanis/

And then the “oh, yeah Ted Leonsis”.

But good podcast overall.

Actually I did forget that as it really wasn’t that important to me. As far remembering Ted Leonsis, well when the president of a major US Corporation calls it is something that sticks out.

A brave move indeed by Jason Calacanis. :)

Isn’t Domains by proxy exclusive a Godaddy of companies product?

Barry Welford June 24, 2007 at 8:25 am

Who on earth is looking for ‘Domains by Proxy’. They’ve still got some of the more important top 20 searches fairly on track. You shouldn’t be too picky, picky.

This was pretty funny.

Fixed now.

Thanks for your feedback on our Go Daddy page. I have created a stub on Mahalo specifically for Domains by Proxy. The page in question was originally created for Go Daddy with “Domains by Proxy” being redirected to it. You can now check out both pages here:

I like RegisterGenius.com better. No BS when I got my .com domain name.
