Seems Barry Diller’s “be evil” quip my not have been that far from the mark, check out the search for [mortgage] over at Ask.com (Google [mortgage] for comparison). Screen shot after the jump.

Yea I know one comes from the ASK inventory, and the other comes from Google inventory, however given that Barry Diller owns both ASK and LendingTree, well ….

    One thing I like about Google is that they still look out for the little guy. If Ask.com is going to “Be evil” like that and others follow we are all toast.

    And boy was that keynote boring…
