Hey Matt I can’t be the first person who ever wanted a link on Google maps straight to a Google calendar, how come you don’t offer that? I look up the location, add my starting address (which Google never seems to remember despite me telling it multiple times it’s my default address) you have be “smart” enough to know I have the Google calendar service on my account why not offer me a quick link to add it to my Google Calendar, prefill the address, and all I have to enter is the time.
oh and I’d love to be able to sync my gmail/google calendar with my windows mobile phone the way I can with an exchange server, but that’s just crazy talk I know, since AT&T won’t let me download/install the gmail app on my phone as it is.

Hmm. In Gmail when you create an event, you can type in a time and a location. That would be a good place for a calendar + map. I think someone at Google will get the feedback.
Saving a default address works great for me, and I can even add a label like “home” or “work” and use that instead of an address. Try this and see if it works: http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/2006/08/google-maps-saved-locations.html

It’s the syncing that gets me…. I want to be able to sync Mozilla Thunderbird to my Windows Mobile, if Google were to offer it, well - they’d scoot up on my Christmas Card list!
