    Check out if the feeds are from two different source (e.g. RSS and atom). That was mentioned on Scoble’s comments by one of the Google guys.

    It looks like this was a hiccup on The Superficial’s end; they published the same article with two different IDs. The item in between the two dupes was http://thesuperficial.com/2008/01/technical_difficulties.php , corroborating this. They don’t seem to have had any dupes since.
