I’ve been listening to Danny Sullivan and Gary Price on Daily Search Cast on my IPod and every so often they give a little poke to Google about the 767 they bought, with the affectionate nickname Google Force One. Whether Google actually plans to use this in any commercial endeavor remains nothing more than speculation at this point. However since we know Google will go to some pretty strange lengths to act as your proxy server (see Google Secure Wifi), I wouldn’t put it past them to try it. While I’m not a a frequent flyer I really go out of my way to choose Jet Blue just because they have personal TV’s for every seat. Google could really make a lot of people happy with free wifi on the plane. Now to really go over the top, put a power outlet in every seat to let people recharge in flight.
Hey I can dream can’t I?
