I demand a recount of the hanging chads or something, because according to a recent press release Google is the most desireable place to work for undergraduates just beating out Disney … ACK!!!

Say it ain’t so Mickey … Say it ain’t so …

Actually, I am extremely surprised Disney was that high on the list. I’ve lived in Orlando my whole life and EVERY person I know that has worked for the mouse says they are bar none the worst employer. The pay is horrible in comparison to other companies for the same level jobs, the management style is Stalinistic and orientation is a special form of brainwashing called Disney Traditions.

So dressing up as mouse and not swearing all day is an ideal job?

I’m not surprised by this at all and wonder whether the fact that we work in SEO often blinds us to what a great PR job Google does most of the time.

They allow people to work on vanity projects, they have nice looking offices, I understand from conversations with Googlers that it’s a very relaxed recruitment process, yada yada yada.

A better question would be who (other than those in SEO) wouldn’t want to work at Google?

I can believe it! I have heard nothing but great things about Google, and I continue to be impressed with what Google!

    Thanks again,
