Yeah yeah I’m a day late and a dollar short but this is my blog and I can do things anyway I like so just deal or skip to next post if it bothers you.
I like to meet people who blog about SEO news whenever I get to a conference so I was glad to meet some new folks like Patrick Sexton of Seoish.com, Rhea Drysdale who writes for Search Engine Journal and Susan Esparza who writes for the Bruce Clay Blog and Eric Enge who I totally beat in the 10th frame of a bowling match.
People I missed who I think were there were Jordan from Marketing Pilgrim and Jennifer Laycock from Search Engine Guide so hey next time you’re at a show or conference party come say “hi”, I’m really not that scary.

I saw you around lots and wanted to say hi. I’m shy. Plus, I cut out right after the conference ended. No SEOmoz party for me
.
Next time, then!
Hi Michael,
I can’t remember if we were formerly introduced, but I certainly saw you at the Moz party (http://www.flickr.com/photos/altogether/533452099/). Feel free to have a look at our (of late, slightly infrequent) blog if you have a spare minute.
Cheers,
Ciarán
You really are looking for trouble aren’t you? You are from New York, and I am from Boston. Isn’t that trouble enough?
But no, you have to raise the bowling thing. Just remember the ‘04 Yankees, or let’s talk football …
:>
did you say something I was having a hard time hearing you over the sound of all those bowling pins going down
Perhaps some visual assistance will help:

Hey thanks for the mention, sorry I didn’t respond sooner, I am offline for a couple days so my new girlfriend won’t kill me. (apparently I don’t pay attention to anything other than my computer)
It was nice meeting you and I appreciated your thoughts.
Take care, “can’t hear you over the bowling pins faling down” nice.
pat
How many times have I seen you? Not enough. Or too many. Can’t figure out which it is. I don’t get out much.
Dear Michael,
Saw your video on YouTube. Great stuff. New to SEO, doing course now, contest to get #1 Google by 22/6/07. Hard work!
Like to learn more about linkbaits, link ninja etc to help me with SEO for my websites.
Otherwise, I pay some guy in Romania, India and don’t know whether they are doing it right or not!
Paid links, Google wants us to report them. ?? what else?
Hi John,
To start with, I’m Russian and my SEO blog is Russian, but you didn’t mention nationalities so I decided to intrude. By the way, Jennifer Laycock is just great.

Just saw this, I’m going to be one of those strange people that only shows up at conferences and the weeks immediately before/after. Otherwise I’ll probably be non-existant. Such is the nature of not working for yourself or getting paid to blog.
It was a pleasure meeting you and I’m sorry we didn’t get a chance to talk more. I admired your laptop from afar though. I wonder if I could get a Jean Grey one??
Hi Michael,
Have to agree about the Video on Youtube. Great stuff, keep up to good work. Now I have found your blog, I hope to check back more often.
Cheers
Tim
