So over the years I’ve been asked more than once do I accept any guest posts, and they answer has always been no. Well I’ve decided to change that policy and try letting a few guests posts go out and see what happens.

So what’s it take to be accepted as a guest author? Well you don’t have to be an A-list well known SEO or social media blogger, I’m a big believer in giving people a break and paying it forward, so A-lister thru Z-lister you’re all welcome. Next your post has to be either informative, educational, or entertaining and you’re a shoe in if it’s more than one. Please don’t submit anything lame rehashing stuff that all ready out there and been said a million times. Also you don’t have to agree with me, if you love love love Google and think wikipedia is the best thing since sliced bread, bring it on, I don’t stifle people who have differing opinions. You’re spelling and grammar should be good … or at least not any worse than mine ;-)

Yes you can put in your own links, but if it looks like you are linking to yourself or all your friends in an overly gratuitous nepetistic fashion … well we might have a problem. You can go where you want with your subject, as long as it fits what I usually write about, if you need help picking a subject let me know.

That’s it so if this sounds like something you’re interested in get in touch.

UPDATE
Going thru requests no decisions made yet just hang in there folks

Just like with Aaron Wall I noticed your spwelling, punctuation and content improve rapidly, are you sure all these posts have not been “guest posts” Michael? ;)

Very cool. I very much appreciated it when you answered questions for me. In fact, I think I got spoiled. It saved me a lot of time. Very nice, Micheal [:-) I might as misspell like everyone else)

Thanks for the opportunity Michael! I am totally excited to get you my post here soon to see if I am worthy to be featured as a guest poster here on Wolf-howl.com. I am definitely not an A-Lister but I do consider myself as a C-Lister, so anyways thanks again and happy guest posting everyone!

What is “nepetistic”?

I have just had a run-in with Google and now they say it will take several weeks to reinstate me… my traffic has trickled to a ten percent scale of the previous because a hacker piggy-backed on an undefended wireless, and installed malware in the comments area of my blog. I have catalogued the entire experience with screen shots and progress reports, including the image at my analytics page.

Moreover, the policy at Google needs to be brought out for your readers.

Would you like some posts about this as an on-going series? I’m envisioning a preview in the search engine of the red flag Google puts there to warn anyone about going to a site that is suspected to have malware. A second item of what happened recently. And a third item follow-up.

Let me know what you think.

thanks

cf

My seo blog was hacked and ranked in the top 5 for “viagra” type phrases for several weeks. Back then there was no help from Google and not even a reconsideration request for having a hacked wordpress blog. Feel lucky Google is doing all it can to get you back into the index, in the old days we were on our own and slapped around by hacker/spammers like red headed…

“piggy-backed on an undefended wireless” – I would love to here someone explain that?

How about guest tweats, would you be open to that?

Ha, kidding. Although with ~2300 followers, it sure would be valuable. Hmm, I wonder what kind of traffic one @graywolf tweat would drive to a small, save the fail whales nonprofit nonprofit (http://www.savethefailwhales.org/) though…

Cheers, hope you find a good guest-poster. Most of shoemoney’s are not that great, despite their better grammar.
